As Far As I Can See Is Nashville Skyline

4 09 2008

Oh yeah and yee haw. It’s going down. After busting it this week at work, I’m taking a little R & R. Tomorrow me and some of my favorite muchachos – Matty G., Joe and Jon – are headed to Music City USA, for a few days of football, tourism, bad decisions and a little pre-bachelor party shenanigans for my life-long friend Matt Geib…

Some of the things we may or may not see or do:
– Watch Carolina embarrass Vanderbilt Thursday night.
Edit: Actually, this ended up going the other way. No, I don’t want to talk about it.
– Hang out with my favorite hobo, Kris Koon.
– Visit Hatch Show Print.
– Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame.
– See the Grand Ole Opry.
– Take some sweet pitchas of old neon signs.
– See where South Carolina’s Favorite Son, Andrew Jackson lived.
– Sing karaoke.

Granted we’ll only be there Thursday & Friday (and maybe some of Saturday, depending on whether or not we’ve found our way into a nice pair of cowboy boots and a line dance…), but if you’ve got any more ideas or attractions to hit up, let me know.

You definitely need to go to the Wildhorse Saloon for some line dancing. 🙂

Pancake Pantry for breakfast. Grill Cooks Medley. It’s in the Vanderbilt area.
Lines will be around the block, so go early! No other breakfast food like it on this planet. (unless you’re still fasting…then totally disregard this emal!)

Not sure about many attractions in the Nashville area, but I do know one thing that is unattractive about it…It’s where Gamecocks go to die. It must be something in the BBQ.
